On July 25, the Serpentine Gallery in London will kick off its presentation of RMB City in real-life, coinciding with the opening of the RMB City Preview Center in Second Life. Throughout the 'construction process' and actual operation period, the Gallery will show the progress of RMB City in its lobby and on its website.
The official ground-breaking ceremony to launch the construction of RMB City took place on Monday July 14, 2008, on the future site of RMB City in Second Life .

The second French visiting artist Shen Yuan comes to Nanling to involve in the project from July to August. She works with the women from local community and “write” alternative Nanling History (1957-2005) which is different from the Nanling mainstream.

The first French artist Mathieu Briand came to China to involve in the project on 20th February in 2005. His art project is to work with the children from local community and build an “Children’s Eternal Garden”.The opening day of the project “ Fools move mountains?” and artwork “ Eternal Garden” is on 27th March in Nanling( three hours away from Guangzhou).
